What you will do

  • You will provide remote technical L2/L3 (backend) support to various customers in the German banking sector
  • Managing and administering M365 tenants and its products in direct relation to Exchange Online
  • Managing on-prem backend MS Exchange Server infrastructures and associated systems. This entails installing, configuring, maintaining and upgrading
  • L2/L3 troubleshooting of hybrid AD/Exchange environments, diagnosing and resolving issues related to: mail flow, mailbox access, performance, etc.
  • Configuring and managing Exchange Server security
  • Ensuring flawless service operation of complex system environments, continuous monitoring
  • Maintaining, supporting, troubleshooting SharePoint Online and associated systems (MS Teams, OneDrive) would be an advantage
  • Support will be provided mainly via ticketing system (Service Now), occasionally also via phone

Who you are

  • Solid ITIL understanding (Request, Change, Incident, Problem management), ITIL Foundations v3/v4 certification is an advantage
  • Experience with Service Now or other ITSM tools
  • Experience in providing L2/L3 remote IT support in operations (3 years at minimum), Experience in IT overall (5 years at minimum)
  • Experience with administration of M365 (Azure AD, Exchange Online, MS Teams, Defender for Office 365)
  • Experience with administration of on-prem MS Exchange Server 2019/2016 environment (standalone, HA clusters) as well as hybrid topologies
  • Experience with Active Directory, knowledge of internal/public DNS, Group Policies, Mail-Gateway solutions, load balancing technologies
  • Good knowledge of collaboration tools (especially MS Teams) is a must
  • Good knowledge of Identity and Access Management
  • One Drive + SharePoint Online knowledge is an advantage
  • Knowledge of PowerShell
  • Understanding of PKI concepts (certificates)
  • Solid knowledge of networks, heterogeneous IT infrastructures, server operating systems
  • Knowledge of Windows threat protection
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn and adopt additional/new technologies into your tech portfolio
  • English skills (B2, both in written & spoken), German language would be of great advantage
