IT BUSINESS ARCHITECT

In your role as an IT business architect at CANCOM, you are working in an IT job with a future and staying consistently focused on the client’s IT structure. Strategically advising clients is your core duty – always with an eye to their business performance. Your range of tasks is broad: it goes from analyzing specific business needs, explaining visions and possible solutions to giving presentations to clients and negotiating contracts together with Sales.
Most importantly IT business architects act as interfaces between management and the client’s IT departments, translating between business and technical viewpoints. The goal is to ensure that both parties understand each other and work together.

SYSTEM ENGINEER

In the position of a system engineer at CANCOM, you make sure that all of a client’s technical processes work without a hitch. You need a structured and organized work approach to be a system engineer. You are a project manager, analyst, and risk manager wrapped into one and must have an eye on the interconnection of individual processes in the client’s IT setup. Our clients are just as varied as your tasks.
Working as a system engineer at CANCOM, you can look forward to a broad variety of topics from the fields of network, server, and storage solutions. Depending on the level of intensity of a client project, you either work directly on site at the client’s business or in one of our offices. Your work includes concept development, installation, and configuration of automation solutions, error analysis and removal, as well as the integration of solutions into existing client infrastructures.
For more complex issues, you collaborate with departments such as Sales. Our system engineers are solution-oriented and work independently. They are highly flexible and wield extensive professional IT experience.

Our technical sales teams are our experts for providing clients with specialist consulting on the CANCOM portfolio.
They advise clients on developing existing or entirely new IT strategies and scrutinize them based on CANCOM architectures to exploit any business potential to the utmost. As a member of our technical sales team you have to collaborate closely with colleagues from Sales, technical departments, and consultants and support them with your expertise.
Besides that you have to observe the market and define the range of CANCOM services for the various CANCOM solutions as well as for the corresponding business development and solution marketing.
